Our spiritual lives at Trinity revolve around—but are not restricted to—Sunday morning worship. We are a Eucharistically-oriented congregation that finds great meaning in the gathering of the faithful to receive Communion. Typically, our worship is expressed in two very different services.

The 8 am service has a foundation in silence. The Congregation gathers before the liturgy begins and sits in the morning quiet. The service unfolds in traditional form, but is punctuated with periods of quiet reflection. We average about fifty worshippers at this early service, but this early Congregation is hardly conventional. Nearly 75% of them congregate in the Great Hall for a lively and lengthy Coffee Hour. New comers, visitors, and young families are welcomed and easily integrated. Children’s Worship begins at 10 am. Young families ideally have the opportunity to drop their children off and then have a quiet moment before the service begins. (See Children’s Worship for information about our Sunday school program.) Childcare is always available promptly at 10 am. The head of our nursery is an adult who works as a teaching assistant in the public school. She works with at least one volunteer every Sunday.

Besides the Eucharist, the 10:15 am service is oriented around sacred music. The worship is expressive and often upbeat, with our strong Choir leading the way. And when the children join us just after the Peace, the energy level rises. Periodically, Father Bill adds a Children’s Message in addition to his sermon. A second Coffee Hour follows this service and gives us a chance to meet and greet any visitors or new comers.

Along with our traditional Sunday worship services we gather for a variety of different worship opportunities during the year. Contemplative Eucharists, Advent and Lenten programs, and Labyrinth Walks are some of the diverse spiritual offerings within our congregation.

We would very much like to welcome you and have you join us.
